The TCE560 is the perfect machine for turning brake shoes on heavy duty trucks.
The machining is operated directly on the gear unit hub axle or by using suitable accessories on conventional axles (even with
mounted internal bearing).
The machine is supported by an height-adjustable, tilting and self-aligning patented carriage, which ensures quick and easy
fitting operations.
The high speed rotation of 90 rpm (on both ways), together with the sequential feed of 0.6 mm/rev and the adjustable control stop,
ensures short machining cycles, while providing for excellent surface finishing, cylindricity and concentricity precision.
The oversized gearmotor (1.8 kW) enables the machine to work under the hardest conditions (double or triple differential gear,
transmission shaft connected, frozen oil, etc.)
The soft-start electric device controls the power, thereby starting the machine gradually with no jerks.
The standard equipment is complete with the practical reference dimension reader and the dust collector housing.
Specific accessories for the centering or to simplify and speed up the manufacturing process are available upon request.

WE MAKE MACHINE TOOLS SINCE 1961…

The company begin its activity in 1961 as a mechanical workshop for subcontract working, but creativity and passion for the
technique of its founder, Ing. Bruno Carniel, lead it, in the mid-60s, to the construction of the first combined machines for the
reconditioning of cylinder heads, brake drums and discs. Due to its success, he decides to devote full time to this new activity,
definitely more challenging but also more rewarding than the former one.

A key contribution to the development of Comec comes in 1970 when Bruno’s brother Antonio joins the company, bringing new
technical knowledge gained during his previous work experience. The division of the roles within the company and the perfect
harmony between the two brothers were and still are the elements that have contributed to the unstoppable growth achieving, year
after year, new and more ambitious goals.

In the mid-90s, Bruno’s son Andrea enters the company and, along with his father and his uncle, begins his work experience from
the production department where he acquired considerable technical expertise and a wealth of knowledge about all the devices. Few
years later, he starts leading the sales department with the aim of expanding the company's presence into new markets and managing
an increasingly widespread sales network.

The latest addition to the family business is Enrico, Antonio’s son, who decides to follow his father’s footsteps by orienting his
knowledge toward the production. His vision of a modern and advanced enterprise, supported by a brilliantly achieved degree in
Mechanical Engineering have been bringing significant changes in the management and organization, with the aim of making Comec a
leading company always in step with the times.

Comec is the clearest expression of the real family business; the factory has been our home for over 50 years: the values of
honesty, commitment, reliability and professionalism that have always characterized the Carniel family and handed down from father
to son, are the same principles that guide us in our daily work.
